Lunation Labs are experiments I (and any other interested parties) will carry out between successive new moons. I choose/create short daily and longer weekly practices I attempt to accomplish. The lunations’ astrology inspire me in the decision/creation of these practices.

You may notice some of the practice descriptions leave room for interpretations. Feel encouraged to explore your own creative interpretations and/or ask for clarification.
Basic Astrology
1/12/2020 New Moon in Capricorn, conjunct Pluto
Uranus/Mars conjunct in early Taurus, trined by Venus in Capricorn,
Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn conjunct in early Aquarius, squaring Uranus/Mars.
4 Parts to this Lunations Lab:
- Weekly Paratheatrical Polarities – Order-Chaos. (this needs a 10’x10’+ space you feel free to do/say anything within) Short instructions: 30 min warm up – 6 minutes each of stillness, spinal mobility, core activation, breath into stretch, and heat generation. Stand in No-Form at the edge of the space until ready. Consciously project half the space ORDER and half the space CHAOS. Feel which one draws you. Step into that space, exploring it as needed, then going back and forth until the ritual is done. Step back to the edge of the space and dissolve the projection when complete.

- FLASH_ (Fear Love Anger Sadness Humor [silence]): for 6 breaths each, with 6 breath rests between, use: screaming/eyes wide/shoulders high to express fear, humming/smiling/hugging yourself to express love, full body tension/growling/jaw thrusting to express anger, full body crying (with noise) to express sadness, full body laughter to express humor, ending with quiet nose breathing to express silence. Discover the ceaseless whirl of inner tumult churning your insides to action. Discover that you are not the kind of computer you might have thought you were.
- Embodied Awareness: spend 15 minutes (time it) total each day verbalizing, writing, or typing what you are sensing and perhaps feeling. Explore the space around the labels. Discover honesty in a new light. Is that sensation coming from within or without or? . . .
- Vocal Freedom: Explore the spectrums of loud-quiet, then high-low pitch using: vowel sounds, humming, then hissing. Discover yourself as a human instrument of pure sound capable of a spectrum of acoustic intensity and frequency capable of eliciting unknown ripples in the gorgeous chaotic miasma of existence. Stretch your voice and understanding of voice by rediscovering those spectrums.
