I realized it might be more helpful and clear to do these AEOD’s a week at a time so we can look at longer-term transits adjusting to the lunar mood that shifts every few days. I base the AEOD’s around the current sign position of the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Saturn. There are an unlimited number of ways of valid AEOD’s, this is experimental work. Maybe one of my ideas gives you an idea for channeling some of these forces into your body in a way that makes sense for you, and that’s wonderful! Moon signs are it’s location at Noon PST each day, consult an ephemeris, time zone chart, internet, etc to translate to your time zone if you wish. Obviously, it is impossible for me to know who may or may not be capable of doing any of these exercises, so be safe and do your best judgement, there are no guarantees.
Themes for the week and weekly embodiments:
Sun in Pisces: core identity in feet/toes
Mars in Gemini: actions starts in arms/hands/lungs
Saturn in Aquarius: commitment and endurance in ankles/lower legs
Mercury in Aquarius: communication and thinking in lower legs/ankles. Go for a walk, slowly and steadily communicating anything you sense within or without yourself.
Jupiter in Aries: optimism and faith in head and eyes. Make faces for a few minutes, discovering new faces each time. Once Venus enters Aries on 2/20, lean towards beauty. Mirrors can be helpful in this embodiment. On 2/22 when the Moon passes over Jupiter and Venus, allow any emotions that come up to express through your face.
Venus moving from Pisces to Aries: style and magnetism moving from feet to head.
Moon gives us the mood of the day, changing signs ~every couple days.
- 2/19 Moon in Aquarius – 1 leg balance. Moon in the same sign as Saturn tends toward a more somber, disciplined mood. Venus is still in Pisces, co-present with the Solar core identity, and rules the sign of Libra, the balance scales. 1 leg balance requires both balance and discipline/endurance, as well as being somewhat of an odd exercise. Allow Mars to move around through the hands, taking different positions in order to change how the subtle motions required for balance transfer through the body in a variety of ways. Awareness naturally centers around the feet and toes while balancing. This feels like a fitting way of making ourselves into an offering to these astrological spirits such that we might receive their daily wisdom.
- 2/20-21 Moon in Pisces – Dance on one leg. Moon in the same sign as the Sun suggests a temporary unity between core identity and fluctuating moods. Pisces can represent the artist. Dance allows the hands to move all sorts of ways, giving Mars in Gemini ample freedom. Standing on one leg ensures endurance to build through the ankle and lower leg, with awareness and mood united in the foot.
- 2/22-23 Moon in Aries – Jumping with various arm swings OR running with hand-weights (swung in various ways). Jumping and running with weights expresses the aggressive, explosive Arian style. More force is required. Jupiter in Aries asks us to explore, and Mars, ruler of Aries, sits in Gemini, so explore a variety of arms swings in the jumps or while running with hand weights. Soup cans, light dumbbells, or whatever else you want to try should work fine for hand-weights. Saturn in still getting to endure in the ankles, as the legs will tire much quicker than the arms in either exercise.
- 2/24-25 Moon in Taurus – Jump rope. Taurus in the most slow, steady sign of the zodiac and wants to keep plodding. Jump rope allows Mars to outlet in a fast movement involving constant change or direction (Gemini) without changing what the rest of the body is doing. Moon in Taurus tells Mars in Gemini to go twiddle their thumbs in a corner. The Solar core identity stays in the feet (Pisces) with jump rope, and Saturn likes the endurance required through the calves and lower legs.
Enjoy these fun experiments, I will try to post video demonstrations of each AEOD each morning, feel free to share yours are well with the hashtag #AEOD if you’re into that sort of thing. Wisdom to all!
