Astrological Embodiment of the Day – Week of 2/26-3/4

AEOD’s are ways of offering our bodies and beings to the planetary forces in various ways. I base the AEOD’s around the current sign position of the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Saturn. There are an unlimited number of ways of valid AEOD’s, this is experimental work. Maybe one of my ideas gives you an idea for channeling some of these forces into your body in a way that makes sense for you, and that’s wonderful! Moon signs are its’ location at Noon PST each day, consult an ephemeris, time zone chart, internet, etc to translate to your time zone if you wish. Obviously, it is impossible for me to know who may or may not be capable of doing any of these exercises, so be safe and do your best judgement, there are no guarantees.

Themes for the week and weekly embodiments:

Sun in Pisces: core identity in feet/toes

Mars in Gemini: actions starts in arms/hands/lungs

Saturn in Aquarius: commitment and endurance in ankles/lower legs

Mercury moving from Aquarius to Pisces: Aquarius- communication and thinking in lower legs/ankles. Go for a walk, slowly and steadily communicating anything you sense within or without yourself. Pisces – communication and thinking in the feet and toes. Go for a walk or jog in which the movement becomes a dance with the Earth. Step is given to the Earth and the Earth gives back to us with Ground Reactive Force aka GRF. For more info on GRF click HERE.

Jupiter in Aries: optimism and faith in head and eyes. Make faces for a few minutes, discovering new faces each time. With Venus also in Aries this week, lean toward balance and beauty in you facial explorations.

Venus in Aries: style and magnetism in head and eyes.

Moon gives us the mood of the day, changing signs ~every couple days.

  • 2/26-28 Moon in Gemini – Hand to hand toss on one leg. With the Moon in Gemini, receptivity is in the hands, hence tossing something hand to hand, or throw-catch with both hands, use your best judgement on what is appropriate for you at this time. Standing on one leg will get very challenging, as the act of throwing and catching will conflict with your efforts to stay balanced, which is well represented by the natural Square/90 degree relationship between the signs Gemini and Pisces. in this drill the action starts in the hands (Mars in Gemini) and the tone is quick with plenty of changing direction, but the core identity of the drill is that you are balancing on one leg (Sun in Pisces).
  • 3/1-2 Moon in Cancer – Front-Loaded Carry. Using the chest and belly to hold something engages the body region Cancer rules as well as a core Cancerian action – holding something to one’s breast. Going for a walk holding an infant or small child of any species (maybe not baby cow unless you are very very strong) may be the best way to offer oneself to the Cancerian realms, but anything that can help you engage the gentle softness of Cancer will suffice.
  • 3/3-4 Moon in Leo – Overhead Carry. Holding something overhead requires an alliance between the chest/upper back (ruled by Leo) and arms/hands (ruled by Gemini) well symbolized by their natural Sextile/60 degree relationship. The ankles and calves still get work and will be challenged as well, but as Leo is the sign opposite Aquarius, where enduring Saturn currently sits, it is only natural for the receptivity (Moon, holding place) to be at the opposite end of the body from where the ankles and calves (Aquarius) have their endurance tested. There is a potential for cooperation present in any opposition, and this AEOD challenges you to get your upper back to cooperate with your ankles/lower legs in order to keep the weight overhead (not landing on top of your head) and still be walking. Lastly, Leo likes to be seen, while Aquarius likes being different and fitting in. Walking while holding something overhead will probably get you noticed, appeasing Leo, and viewed as different, appeasing Aquarius.

Enjoy these fun experiments.
