Center for Neurosomatic Studies – This is the massage school in Clearwater, Florida I attended from 2012-2014. As part of the inaugural class, I got the privilege of working directly with Randy Clark, Kevin Wade, and the Legend himself, Paul St. John. This training transformed my view of the body, healing, and the world in general while teaching me the art and science of massage. I am deeply grateful for the scholarship they awarded me, without which I would have been unable to attend. Thank you CNS!
Here are links to some stuff I find interesting or valuable:
Weckmethod – Pioneers in the fundamental place rotation holds in human movement, integrated into simple, safe practices which can help evolve anyone’s embodiment.
Strongfirst – – Pioneers in the pursuit of strength, this Pavel Tsatsouline-led organization puts out great content. I certified in the RKC under Brett Jones before Pavel left DragonDoor to form StrongFirst, so I don’t have actual experience with either after the split, but both seem to be doing great stuff.
Radical Undoing/Reichian Therapy: I highly recommend these methods. I have seen many people claiming to be doing “Reichian Therapy” with very different methods, of which I cannot speak to the effectiveness due to my lack of experience. I do have some experience with the approaches given by two students of Israel Regardie: Christopher Hyatt and Jack Willis. All three are now dead. Hyatt called it “Radical Undoing” and Willis called it “Reichian Therapy”. Willis seems to have lived in an academic model (for me, gross!) and Hyatt founded the EII (Extreme Individual Institute). Willis does a better job with describing technical details while Hyatt, who left academia and psychiatry, gets more down-to-earth and zen-philosophical.

Paratheatre: I have some experience with a style of Paratheatre developed by Antero Alli. I participated in 2 two-day intensives led by Antero Alli before his passing in November 2023. I have also taken Antero’s 8-week course on the 8-circuit brain, which uses Paratheatrical techniques. I fell into this work as a way to . . . integrate what I had opened myself to with Radical Undoing, then found a whole lot more. For more on this, check out: http://www.paratheatrical.com/info.html
Wim Hof: This method helped me apply what RUDY opened me to in other ways. I have experience with the basic method from the cheap app available for download, but have not yet tried the more in depth courses, as I am still experimenting with the basics. The way I use this method seems to open and train your circulatory systems, primarily by adapting to hot/cold, hyperventilation/breath hold, and inverting your relationship to gravity. A great way to “Reset” the ANS, but I would not compare it to RUDY or Paratheatre in terms of breadth and depth of effect. It seems to be more of a health thang than an intelligence thang, although it certainly has altered and informed my views on and approach to RUDY and Paratheatre.
